Mysonne is a rapper out of New York city. He was convicted of armed robbery and served 7 years in prison (a conviction he maintains his innocence of to this day). As one of New York's most well known rap personalities he states that American media is intended to keep people ignorant and complacent of the structures of oppression that infest the entire society.
